What about people who choose NOT to have kids?
The Pope said, on Vatican Radio recently, that people who don’t have children will suffer in old age “the bitterness of isolation.” He recommended that they stop worrying about finances and trade in pets for children. This makes sense, given his completely transparent agenda of needing the world’s faithful Catholics to make more faithful Catholics.
Is it truly “selfish” to stay childless?
Well, the other guest on this FOX News show thinks yes, but I say “No!” Watch, and let me know below what you think!
Dr. G I am in full agreement with you. There are so many reasons that people choose their childbearing decisions, such as:
Health of one or both of the couple
Inability to conceive and keeping that fact private
Family history of inherited disease
History of abuse by parent(s) of one of the couple and resultant psychological stress
Inability to properly financially and/or emotionally support other dependent
And most of all: It’s non of anyone else’s business except for the couple themselves
Gospel, Carol. Absolutely.
“Pope Francis is now telling married couples to have children, because only having pets could lead to anger or bitterness in old age. As opposed to having kids, which leads to anger AND bitterness in old age.” –Jimmy Fallon
This cracked me up! Thanks Joe!
